The COSDAT o.s., an organizer of the project Institute of Lighting Design, is an accredited sending and hosting organization within European Voluntary Service, which is a part of the EU programme Youth in Action. Via EVS, young people under 30 years have an opportunity of working in various organizations (youth, ecology, social work, historical heritage, community life, art, culture etc.) in the countries of EU, EFTA/EEA and in the countries that are candidates for joining EU and partner countries of south and east Europe and Caucasus.

Residency of volunteers is supported by a grant of EU programme Youth in Action.

In 2013 (May 2013 – May 2014) COSDAT o.s. welcomed volunteer Gervaise Hay who participated on realization of ISD activities and further activities of COSDAT.
